It was a perfect activity for our family, as we have players of all skill levels. The course was well-maintained and offered breathtaking views of the North Shore. , the nearby hiking trails in the State Parks provided us with the opportunity to explore the beautiful rivers, waterfalls, and gorges in the area. It was a wonderful outdoor adventure for the whole family.
For dads, it would be great if there were more organized activities specifically tailored for children.

The cabins at The Historic Lutsen Lodge were cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm that instantly made me feel at home. The King guestroom was comfortable, and the double guestroom was perfect for larger groups. The pull-out sofa was a great bonus for additional guests.
Personally, I found the Jacuzzi tub in the King guestroom to be a bit small. But hey, everyone has different preferences, right?

The hand-hewn beams and stone fireplaces in the lobby and dining room added a cozy and nostalgic touch. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff was helpful and even offered assistance with carrying my bags. It was easy for me to navigate around the general areas of the hotel, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there.

The cabins with vaulted ceilings and picture windows offered a true Northwoods experience. The resort had a wide array of activities and helpful staff. The dinner at the Strand Waterfront Dining Room was romantic. It's a place to relax, reconnect, and rekindle.
Cramped, dark, and tight rooms. No A/C and some outlets not working.

Maybe it's just me, but I personally didn't enjoy the Jacuzzi tub in the room.
